The farm is partially surrounded by walls and its distinctive traits are the exposed walls of local limestone and the pantile roof. These elements belong to the traditional rural building in the area and are dated around 1200.
Some of them have been recently renovated, in accordance with the regulations relating to construction in seismic areas, while scrupulously respecting the existing architectural traits and preserving the shapes of the buildings, the external appearance and the arrangement of the spaces; for the restructuring they have been used traditional building techniques and recovered materials, both for walls and for roofs.
They also have been protected traditional minor elements such as stone stairs, niches and louvers used for defense.
Inside the complex there are, among other, interesting elements pertaining to a church, a beautiful Gothic arch and portions of exterior walls made of handcarved stones.
